Prior to 1912, a true conference champion was not recognized since some of the teams did not play
each other during the season (a balanced schedule) or there were only one or two schools
participating in basketball. For results from 1902-1911, click on the year and you will obtain
complete results for each of those years including any games played between conference schools.

*--Prior to 1940 all ties for conference championships were determined by a one-game playoff
except in 1905 and 1910, when a playoff date could not be determined by the two schools.
In 1941, with the conference divided into two divisions, a four-team post-season playoff determined championship.
